SWEET CHANGE

In bed within his sumptuous suite
his words within your ear so sweet
he swears he loves you best
of all those he's loved the rest
couldn't hold a candle to his flame
but he wonders if she could arrange
a threesome for future change

that is holy

human life

Not gods
not the ground

Not religion
or it's edifices
churches or mosques

Not for prophets
jesus or mohammed
not for teddy bears

But only for life
human life
of more value
than all the gods

One teddy bear
named mohammed
is not worth one life
or fifteen days
in jail

So much for
religious bigotry
ignorance and education
