Because billions believe
is no reason to believe
that whatever they believe
is true
Billions believe in gods
but only humans have declared
themselves to be gods
by god
Because billions believe
in imaginary beings
is no reason to believe
they exist
Billions believe that stars
determine who it is that they are
may not need to look that far
but within
Because billions believe
in the most unbelievable
makes it most reasonable
to be questionable

I'm a believer
but perhaps only in dreams
last night I died
slowly loosing conciousness, darker
darker and darker it became
until giving it up, I seemed to fall
into a pit, a black hole of
pure nothingness
no light at the end of the tunnel
